A rematch between UFC veteran and One FC's featherweight champion Koji Oishi and former champion Honrio Banario has been scheduled as the main event for One FC 13, the promotion announced via press release Thursday. The bout and event, dubbed 'Moment of Truth', are slated for December 6th at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City, Philippines.
"We know that the fans have been eagerly hoping for a rematch between ONE FC world champion Koji Oishi and Honorio Banari, and we are delivering what they want," One FC CEO Victor Cui stated in the release. "This is a must-see rematch for every MMA fan on the planet."
Oishi most recently competed in May at One FC 9 where he defeated Banario by second-round TKO. That victory brought his record to 24-9-10 while Banario, who also most recently competed at that event, slid to 8-2 in professional mixed martial arts.
Also announced to be participating on the card were Eduard Folyang and Geje Eustaquio, but no opponents were named for either fighter at the time of the news release.
