Customer service makes or breaks a business.

It has been since the dawn of time, no customers means no business. It cannot be put in any simpler terms as that. For our company, Calgary Hydronics Solutions, it is about answering calls 24/7, 365 days a year with a live person actually taking the call. Not prompts or being routed through a mechanical voicemail. To us, live answering the phones just makes common sense.

We also attempt to meet our clients needs in a cost effective manner. We do not gouge them with high prices knowing as a result they will never call us back. Believe it or not, but there are some companies using pricing models that end up charging extremely high prices for common Plumbing and Heating services. And part of that plan is knowing that some, if not all of these clients will never call again as the price was simply to high. We believe we have among the lowest, if not the lowest Plumbing and Heating service and repair rates in the city, yet we are capable of delivering quality and value. How do we do this you might ask? Quite simple really, low overhead! And not settling for second best or ever using the phrase "well it's good enough", which we see and hear often everyday!

No fleet of trucks, not a dozen office staff and we keep a tight control on costs as well as the prices we pay vendors. This all adds up to savings for the customer and yet allows us a margin of profit enough to keep us in business.
Our customers for the most part are extremely happy with both the quality of work as well as the cost. And we know that we cannot satisfy everyone, but we try. And what we do, how we do it and whether we succeed is the true measure of customer service.

It is never "take the money" and run in hopes of never seeing the client again. Because my friends, even in Calgary where there seems an abundance of clients/customers, sooner or later you will peeve off enough people you will find yourself out of money and out of business.
People and repeat business are the cornerstones of a successful enterprise and there can be no successfull alternatives.
