Major Youth Sports Organization in Texas Chooses SportsSignup to Streamline Online Registration

Town & Country Optimist Club (?T&C?) of Austin, one of the largest youth sports organizations in Texas, has turned to SportsSignup to manage online registrations for more than 8,500 children in eight sports.

The company, based in Saratoga Springs, NY, facilitates several hundred thousand youth sports registration transactions per year. Its services also include processing online registration for individual events such as road races and special events.
The move to online registration with SportsSignup has dramatically reduced the amount of time league organizers and other volunteers must spend processing paperwork, handling payments and assigning players and coaches to teams, tournaments and sports camps, said Lisa Smith, the Registration Manager for T&C. In addition to online registration, T&C also utilizes SportsSignup?s KidSafePlus coach and volunteer background check management system to facilitate background checks on more than 500 volunteers.
