Motorola MC75 great for enterprise - Pocket Change Shopping Blog

Motorola MC75

When it comes to cell phones in today?s world you will definitely find something that will suit your taste. The cell phone market has grown exponentially over the past few years and this is mostly thanks to business phones and smart phones. One thing that hasn?t changed is the fact that they are extremely fragile. Well there is an exception in the Motorola MC75.

Now when I first saw this phone it was just too big. The more I saw it, it just got bigger and bigger. This phone is massive and this isn?t really going to appeal to the average consumer, the consumer target wasn?t the average consumer anyway. This phone is designed to be tough and reliable for data entry. Using this phone indoors would just be a waste of this phone?s rugged qualities. ?The MC75 is meant to be out in harsh environments. In short this phone would be best used by people who work outdoors or in testing environments, as such miners or field engineers come to mind.

Coming to the internal features of the phone, it is actually quite impressive considering its non sophisticated look. This phone runs on Windows Mobile so you can be sure it has a simple enough yet powerful user interface. It is touch sensitive and you get a stylus along with it and runs on GSM networks. Now due to the size and rugged nature of this phone it weighs about 422 grams. Now that?s about 3 times the weight of an iPhone 4! Unless you have got yourself a pair of jeans with large pockets you can forget about placing them in your pocket.

The screen of this phone is about 3.5 inches which is just about the size of an iPhone. The screen resolution is about 640*480 which is extremely bright and clear. it also comes with a 2 megapixel camera which is good enough for you to take pictures without expecting too much out of it. The only disappointment with this phone would be the lack of a 3.5 mm jack so you could plug in your favorite headphones. The other internal features are standard with 256 MB of ROM and 128 MB of ram and it also comes with an excellent GPS receiver. Last but not the least it comes with a massive battery! When I say massive I mean massive! This phone has a 4800mAh battery. Now this battery is something what you would use on a netbook so you could imagine the battery life you get!

Overall this is an excellent phone if you are looking for something that will survive your outdoor lifestyle. The ruggedness and durability of this phone will not let you down!
