Early this year, I accepted Christ this year after 15-20 years of living selfishly.? He had been calling me and I had been running.? It was the sin of adultery last year that brought me to my knees, to capitulation, and to the cross.? I ran from the adulterous relationship, from my drug use, and my selfishness to the arms of Christ.? I lay down my life for his grace, forgiveness, and way that he has made for us.

Last Sunday night I looked at my wife's text messages and found that she was starting to get close to a male that she worked with.? After doing a bunch of manic research, I confronted her and she admitted to me that this was starting to happen but that nothing escalated very far although it could have over time.? I decided to share with her that I had cheated on her before we got married and during our marriage.? I may have been able to get away without her knowing but the expereince of going through her texts allowed me to get overwhelmed with guilt from my past and sorrow .....I wanted to relate to her and to set things right with her as my life has been transformed over the last year and my family has taken on more meaning than ever before.? I have a 5 year old son, whose heart is being turned towards me and mine to him.?

She was shell shocked and devastated and is moving rapidly to leave the home and marriage? and we have barely said a word to each other.? Of course this is not what I want and it will take some time for us to unwind things....but how do I even foster communication when she doesn't want any of it.? How can I ask her for forgiveness she doesn't exactly believe the transformation anymore?? How do I express my total grief and apology? How can I even ask her for another opportunity for discussion....she does not think I deserve it?? I feel bad reching out to her at all because I don't want to het hurt her anymore than she is already hurting and I'm sure that she is just barely keeping it together!

I am crying multiple times a day and catatonic the rest of the time, but she is surely in a worse place than me?? I sent an email to her yesterday that had too much rationalization and justification in it but I don't want to send another one for fear of making her break down.
?
This is a pivotal time and I am seeking advice on how to best position us for reconcilation in the early phases of our grieving process.... but I am certainly not in control and feel so powerless.

HBO responded by immediately issuing an apology, pulling the episode from their streaming and online services, and even halting home-video shipments of the season.
Now, the episode is back online, and Bush's head has been erased, the Washington Post reports. In his stead is a generic, weak-chinned Westerosi, with a sad frown that pretty much epitomizes the unexpectedly dramatic situation.

When word first hit about the likeness of Bush's severed head appearing on "Thrones," HBO officials were quick to release an apologetic statement: "We were deeply dismayed to see this and find it unacceptable, disrespectful and in very bad taste ... we made this clear to the executive producers of the series who apologized immediately for this inadvertent careless mistake. We are sorry this happened and will have it removed from any future DVD production."
For their part, executive producers and co-showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss — who first pointed out the resemblance to Bush in a DVD commentary track, which was then picked up and widely reported by an eagle-eyed Reddit user — followed suit with an apology of their own.
"We use a lot of prosthetic body parts on the show: heads, arms, etc. We can't afford to have these all made from scratch, especially in scenes where we need a lot of them, so we rent them in bulk," the pair said in a joint statement. "After the scene was already shot, someone pointed out that one of the heads looked like George W. Bush."

BOSTON (AP) - Boston rookie third baseman Will Middlebrooks went out of his way to try to avoid sounding overconfident, considering he has become a hot topic of conversation in a fight for a regular starting spot.
Middlebrooks had a solo homer among his three hits and drove in two runs, Franklin Morales gave Boston another decent start as the fill-in for Josh Beckett, and the Red Sox beat the Atlanta Braves 8-4 on Saturday night.
Middlebrooks, recalled from Triple-A Pawtucket when Kevin Youkilis went on the disabled list with a strained lower back on May 2, has put up big numbers in a small period of time.
"You said it," he said, smiling, when asked if he is letting his bat do the talking as he challenges Youkilis for playing time. "I don't care, to be honest, I came here to play baseball."
Dustin Pedroia added three hits, a walk and had two RBIs for Boston, which won for the eighth time in 10 games to ensure a winning interleague record for the eighth straight season. The Red Sox improved to 10-7 against NL opponents.
But it was Middlebrooks that sparked the offense.
Middlebrooks hit Martinez's first pitch of the third into the Monster seats, making it 5-1. It was the ninth homer of the season for the rookie third baseman, who has made it hard for manager Bobby Valentine to keep him out of the lineup.
"A lot of home run hitters hit them in bunches," Valentine said. "You don't want to take him out of the lineup when he's hot."
Middlebrooks has gone 10 for 14 in his last five games with three homers, three doubles and nine RBIs, and is hitting .381 in his last 26 games.
"I'm just confident. I feel good right now," he said. "I'm in a good groove. It's pretty simple: I'm seeing the ball well."
Morales (1-1) gave up three runs - two earned - and seven hits, striking out eight and walking one. He fanned a career-best nine in five innings last Sunday against the Chicago Cubs, when he took Beckett's turn in the rotation after the right-hander had shoulder inflammation.
Morales said he understands it is not his choice, and is hoping Valentine gives him another chance to start.
"I feel really confident in myself," he said. "I think it's good for me to be starting."
Valentine quickly answered "yes" when asked if Morales would make another start.
Braves starter Randall Delgado (4-8) was knocked out of the game after retiring only four batters. He gave up four runs and six hits.
"He just didn't have location," Braves third baseman Chipper Jones said. "When a young kid struggles with location, it snowballs on him fast."
Michael Bourn had three singles, two stolen bases and two RBIs for the Braves, who lost for the second time in nine road games.
Trailing 1-0 in the first, Boston scored two runs when Adrian Gonzalez had an RBI single, and Middlebrooks followed with a run-scoring double off the Green Monster.
The Red Sox chased Delgado in the second and increased the lead to 4-1 on Pedroia's two-run double to the gap in left-center. Cristhian Martinez relieved with the bases loaded and got Gonzalez to bounce into an inning-ending double play.
Bourn's RBI single cut it to 5-2 in the fifth, but Cody Ross' RBI double restored Boston's four-run lead in the bottom of the inning.
Atlanta cut it to 6-4 against Scott Atchison in the seventh, but Brian McCann lined into an inning-ending double play against Andrew Miller with runners on the corners.
In the seventh, Daniel Nava had a two-run single for Boston.
The Braves had taken a 1-0 lead in the first on McCann's run-scoring infield hit. Morales then struck out the next two batters before getting Jones to line out.
"We should have gotten more out of the first than we did," Braves manager Fredi Gonzalez said. "We really had a chance to kind of set the tone for the ballgame and have them play catch-up and hopefully give our young guy a little bit of breathing room."
NOTES: Braves RHP Jair Jurrjens was feeling fine a day after his first major league start since late April when he held the Red Sox to one run and three hits in 7 2-3 innings of a 4-1 win on Friday. He was sent to the minors to "strengthen his right knee" that caused him to miss all of last September. ... Neither team took batting practice on the field due to a strong line of thunderstorms that hit the area about 2 hours before the start. ... Middlebrooks started for the third straight game, leaving Youkilis on the bench for the third in a row. "Difficult and stressful and all those things," Valentine said of how the situation has been to handle. Before the game Youkilis joked, "I'm not dead. I'm still here," when asked to recall some of his memories in Boston. ... Pedroia was 0 for 11 coming into the game. ... Braves lefty Mike Minor (3-5) faces Aaron Cook (0-1) in the series finale Sunday. Cook will replace Clay Buchholz, who was scratched due to an illness. ... It was the 750th consecutive sellout of Fenway Park.

Canadian retail sales were down by 0.5% to C$38.9bn ($37.85bn) in April 2012, more than offsetting the rise in the previous month, according to Statistics Canada.
In terms of volume, retail sales decreased 0.8% in April, offsetting the 0.4% increase recorded in March.
Lower sales were reported in eight of 11 subsectors, representing 78% of total retail sales. Sales at motor vehicle and parts dealers fell 1.2% in April.
Sales at car dealers decline 1.4% in the month, while used car dealers saw a 2.5% decrease in sales, following four consecutive monthly increases.
Automotive parts, accessories and tire stores sales grew 1.1% and other motor vehicle dealers registered a 0.1% rise in April.
Sales at clothing and clothing accessories stores declined 2.8%, following six straight monthly gains, with lower sales reported by all store types within this subsector.
General merchandise stores and department stores registered 0.6% and 1.2% decreases in sales in April. Sales at other general merchandise stores fell 0.2%, after advancing for five straight months.
Sales at sporting goods, hobby, book and music stores edged down 2.6%, reflecting weaker sales at sporting goods stores.
After two consecutive monthly gains, sales at building material and garden equipment and supplies dealers slipped 0.9% in April.
Sales at food and beverage stores decreased 0.3% in April. Supermarkets and other grocery stores sales fell 0.5%, while gasoline stations sales rose 1.1% in the month.
Among the provinces, Ontario, Quebec, Alberta and British Columbia recorded 1.1%, 0.5%, 0.2% and 0.2% decline in retail sales, respectively.
Retail sales grew 0.7% in Saskatchewan, rising for a third straight month. Manitoba also recorded sales increase of 0.3%, after three months of declines.

Africa to get discount airline
Africa will get a discount airline operating flights continentwide after industrial group Lonrho recruited EasyJet founder Stelios Haji-Ioannou to help transform its aviation assets into a low-cost carrier.
Lonrho?s Fly540 unit will be used to establish the Fastjet brand, with services starting in Ghana this year and extending to East Africa and Angola. Rubicon Diversified Invest-ments will facilitate the move through a reverse takeover, the companies said last week.
Stelios, who goes by his first name, will join the Rubicon board and get 5% of its stock and 0.5% of yearly sales for providing consulting services and use of the Fastjet name, which he owns. Ed Winter, a former EasyJet executive who becomes Rubicon?s chief, said consumer-spending expansion makes Africa ready to support a discount carrier of the kind that has transformed short-haul flying in the US, Europe and Asia.
?The African aviation market is significantly underserved and there are massive opportunities for growth,? Winter, who has also worked at British Airways, said in an interview.

WASHINGTON (AP) ? President Barack Obama flatly blamed Republicans on Friday for failing to support immigration reforms in the last few years.
But Obama didn't tell the whole story in his speech to the National Association of Latino Elected and Appointed Officials. His own Democratic colleagues had a hand in defeating one immigration bill two years ago.
A day earlier, presumptive GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney promised in a speech to the same group that he would ease the path to a green card, fix a complicated and cumbersome system to let farm workers into the United States and finish a high-tech fence along the Mexican border. He was glossing over how difficult some of those changes could be. Some already have been tried, with little or no success.
Here's a closer look at Obama's statement, Romney's assertions and how they match up with the facts:
OBAMA: "We should have passed the DREAM Act a long time ago. It was written by members of both parties. When it came up for a vote a year and a half ago, Republicans in Congress blocked it. The bill hadn't changed. The need hadn't changed. The only thing that had changed was politics."
THE FACTS: Five Senate Democrats voted against sending the DREAM Act to the Senate floor for full consideration. The bill would have created a path to citizenship for many young illegal immigrants brought to the United States as children. Last week, Obama announced plans to stop deporting illegal immigrants who would have qualified for the DREAM Act. The policy change does not include a path to citizenship.
ROMNEY: "As president, I'd reallocate green cards to those seeking to keep their families under one roof. And we will exempt from caps the spouses and minor children of legal permanent residents. And we will eliminate other forms of bureaucratic red tape that keep families from being together." He added: "And if you get an advanced degree here, we want you to stay here. So I'd staple a green card to the diploma of someone who gets an advanced degree in America."
THE FACTS: It's unclear whether Romney would have the authority if elected president to change the way green cards are issued, or whether he would need help from Congress. It is Congress that sets the annual limits for visas for foreigners who have advanced degrees in certain fields of science, math and other professions. Lately, Republicans and groups representing U.S. workers have blocked legislative attempts to increase those limits.
Advocates for immigration reform have long argued that the president can use executive powers to relax or change various immigration regulations. President Barack Obama has done that twice in the last year. First, he allowed prosecutors discretion to focus deportation of illegal immigrants on those with a criminal record or who otherwise pose a threat. Last week, he announced plans to stop deporting many young illegal immigrants brought to the United States as children who have not committed a crime in the U.S. and to grant them work permits.
Republicans have argued that Obama stretched his authority, but Romney seems to be suggesting he, too, could act alone to make broad changes.
And Romney's proposal for keeping educated foreigners in the U.S. isn't original. Obama, in a May 2011 immigration proposal, called for "encouraging foreign students to stay in the U.S. and contribute to our economy by stapling a green card to the diplomas" of those with advanced science, technology, engineering and math degrees.
ROMNEY: "I will work with states and employers to update our temporary worker visa program so that it meets our economic needs."
THE FACTS: Temporary and seasonal workers are considered a necessity for the U.S. agriculture industry, but importing legal workers has proved difficult. The Labor Department's visa program for temporary seasonal workers has long been viewed as costly, cumbersome and inefficient.
Several attempts to overhaul it that included a path to legalization for the workers have been blocked in Congress. Republicans have repeatedly said that any immigration bill offering a path to legalization would not win their support.
ROMNEY: "We should field enough Border Patrol agents, complete a high-tech fence and implement an improved exit verification system."
THE FACTS: Romney's plans don't take notice of what's already been done, including record-high staffing levels along the border and the failure of a Bush-era virtual fence plan.
The Border Patrol has more than 18,500 agents working on the southern border. In the year budget ending last September, agents apprehended about 340,000 illegal immigrants, the fewest in nearly 40 years ? an average of 18 apprehensions per agent. The decrease in apprehensions has been linked to a weak economy producing fewer jobs in the U.S. and to more law enforcement agents and technology being deployed along the border.
Under the Bush administration, the government built hundreds of miles of fencing along the Mexican border. A planned virtual fence was also started, but then scrapped by the Obama administration in 2010 after the project was deemed a failure. About 53 miles of virtual fencing is in place, at a cost of about $1 billion.
An exit verification system has been sought since after the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks, but efforts to build one have been repeatedly stymied, most often because of the projected costs. Earlier this year, John Cohen, deputy counterterrorism coordinator for the Homeland Security Department, told a congressional panel that the agency was finalizing plans for a biometric data system to track who leaves the country and when. He didn't give details.
