President Hu Jintao's nudging remarks Friday during a meeting with Iranian counterpart Mahmoud Ahmadinejad indicate Beijing's desire to be seen as a constructive force on the issue. Hu also told Ahmadinejad that Iran should work more closely with the International Atomic Energy Agency to resolve the issue through dialogue and negotiations.
