Fantasy, Dragon Companion, Intrigue! (advanced, RP buddy)

Right!

I haven't roleplayed in a little while now and am looking not only to get out of the rusty state in which I'm in, but also to have a lot of fun with my RP buddy.

I'm looking for someone who's not afraid of forming longer, complex sentences, who uses character introspection to spice their posts up yet does not abuse meta-information, loves the (medieval) fantasy genre, dragons, character interaction and is no stranger to 'longer' posts. While 'longer' is a subjective term, what I mean is in the area of 500-1300 words per post, which is, incidentally, also how much I usually write.

Don't be scared off! I'm nice and I don't bite. :)

Lately I've been obsessed with the idea of a man or woman (your character), with a position of your choice (whether a lowly beggar, peasant, noble, etc.), coming across a dragon egg. The egg is taken in and it soon hatches. Then, through some magical mumbo-jumbo of its own, it quickly develops into a young adult which is then basically the character's companion. Is it clich?? Nooooooo, not in a million years! ..well, maybe a little bit.

However, who's to say we can't indulge ourselves in clich? stuff every now and then? :) Besides, I would like to make the RP more intriguing via good writing and character interaction on both of our sides, as well as a plot of some kind which both of us can shape. My original idea is to have two kingdoms at the brink of war (no clich?s here, nooooo sir) and your character will thus have the power to either lead either to victory or come to some kind of a peaceful resolution. Orrr not get involved at all and simply do things for their own benefit. Of course, riding a giant wyrm around will bring suspicion, enemies and those that would manipulate you to their own ends, so you would have to plan accordingly.

I'm not going to babble too much in this post, we can work out the details of our preferences when you PM me. :)

Oh - you'll need some sort of instant messaging program to chat as well (not roleplay, that's done through the board)!
