Reviewed: Olympus Tough TG-2 Rugged Point-and-Shoot Camera

Price: $380

If you love the practicality of rugged point-and-shoot cameras but hate the clunky, toy-like looks of most models, the Olympus Tough TG-2 is your new favorite thing. It's handsome, sure, but it also performs. Not only is it the only rugged camera on the market to include an ultra-bright, high-speed f2.0 lens, strengthening the camera's shooting capabilities, it also takes great photos nearly anywhere, including underwater at depths of up to 50 feet. We were also impressed with the 3-inch high-resolution OLED display, which let us see what we were doing even in direct sunlight. And the Olympus really is tough: Drop it from seven feet, accidentally crush it beneath 220 pounds, or leave it out in 14-degree temps, and still the camera will survive.
